The Montesa Cota 301RR 75th Anniversary Special Edition arrives at Servihonda

The Cota 301RR 75th Anniversary, the brand’s tribute to its three-quarters of a century of life with this Special and exclusive Edition of its most Racing model that will be available only for the 2021 season, is now available at Servihonda.

The Montesa Cota 301RR 75th Anniversary, which replaces its predecessor, presents a good number of new features in terms of design and aesthetics, highlighting the new red color of the fuel tank, as well as the stickers located on the frame and below the tank, a clear nod to the classic color that many of the brand’s models have worn throughout its history.

The fork bottles go from the gold color of the previous model to black, on which the Montesa 75th Anniversary logo stands out, which is also present in other parts of the Cota.

The rear fender has also been renewed, presenting itself wider to better protect from splashes in wet areas.

The 301RR, which is the most powerful Cota manufactured in series, is a motorcycle designed and conceived to compete, hence its RR (Race Ready) surname, inheriting the 300 cubic centimeter engine of the motorcycle that participates in the Trial World Championship 2.

The Cota 301RR 75th Anniversary continues to use a light aluminum frame and swingarm, as well as lobed brake discs that mount the machines of the competition team on both trains, which gives it great braking power.

Following the similarities with the Montesa of the Trial World Championship, it has the aluminum muffler, which increases the resistance, increasing the volume of the muffler and the diameter of the inner tube. Regarding the Cota 300RR model, the 301RR benefits from a significant increase in engine torque throughout the rev range, benefiting from up to 16% more power and torque in low and medium ranges.

The Cota 301 75th Anniversary continues to feature the lightweight TECH suspension fork with aluminum bars and lightweight aluminum machined wheel hubs, solutions that represent a significant weight saving. In the rear, it continues to equip a SHOWA shock absorber that helps improve traction.
