Honda Transalp 2023: conquering the mountain

The Honda Transalp is back. A motorcycle born from the idea of creating a mixed motorcycle category, inspired by the bikes that traveled the Paris – Dakar.

Honda Transalp 2023: a success story

In 1987, Honda launched the Transalp 600V, a mixed rally bike with an aerodynamic fairing anchored to the chassis and an appearance similar to that of the bikes that competed in the Paris-Dakar.

36 years later, and 10 years after its disappearance, the Honda Transalp returns. And it returns to be a leader. With the highest torque and power in its category and an enviable ride both on and off-road.

Its 755 cc V-twin engine delivers 91.8 hp of power and 75 Nm of torque. An engine designed from scratch with the new Air Vortex intake technology, which amplifies and smooths responses at low and medium revs.

In addition, the cylinders are covered with Ni-SiC (Nickel and Silicon Carbide) which reduces their friction, increasing performance and decreasing consumption and emissions.

In its fairing, its wind protection design stands out, along with a narrow middle area that allows freedom and ease of use despite its height of 850 mm and weight of 208 kg.

The fairing and screen have carefully designed aerodynamics to increase stability and reduce noise and movements caused by the wind at high speed.

In the technological part, the Transalp has four driving modes (Gravel, Sport, Standard and Rain) plus a customizable user mode with which to adapt its behavior to your driving and the road.
