The new CRF300 RALLY is now available at official Honda dealerships. Inspired by the iconic CRF450 RALLY from the Dakar, this motorcycle also offers excellent comfort and performance for daily commutes.
With DNA that comes directly from the HRC CRF450 RALLY Dakar competition machine, the CRF300 RALLY is based on the CRF250L trail bike and brings something new to the market since its launch in 2017. Not only does it have a look that seems ready to compete in desert stages, but it also gives motorcyclists a true sense of adventure, being a light and easy-to-handle machine, as well as offering extraordinary comfort for everyday use.
In 2021, the CRF300 RALLY experienced an increase in its displacement and a reduction in its weight, which further improved its performance and level of fun: 10% more maximum power, reaching 20.1 kW at 8,500 rpm, and 18% more maximum torque, with a total of 26.6 Nm at 6,500 rpm. Significant changes were made to the steel chassis, aluminum swingarm, and lower clamp, achieving a 4 kg reduction in total weight and improving the rigidity balance for a better feel and transmission of sensations. The ground clearance increased by 5 mm, reaching 275 mm, while the Showa 43 mm long-travel inverted forks and rear suspension offer excellent response on all types of terrain.
For powerful braking on any surface, the two-piston front caliper works in conjunction with a 296 mm lobed floating disc. In addition, for offroad riding, there is the option to disconnect the rear ABS. The stylish 21-inch aluminum wheels at the front and 18-inch at the rear, in black Alumite, are equipped with mixed tires that allow you to enjoy the CRF300 RALLY on roads, highways, or in the city. In addition, both wheels are also compatible with more specific off-road tires.
The CRF300 RALLY has been designed to cover long distances and its style clearly reflects this. With components inherited from the CRF450 RALLY, such as the “floating” screen, the upper and lower fairing, and the side protectors, it offers excellent protection against the elements. The handguards provide additional protection for both the hands and the brake and clutch levers. A sump guard protects the underside of the motorcycle and the gear lever has a folding tip. In addition, its 12.8-liter fuel tank offers a range of more than 400 km.
The CRF300 RALLY is ready to be purchased immediately, in the Extreme Red color, for a retail price (RRP) of 7,100 euros.
